Maurice Covington is a seasoned Realtor with over four years of experience, blending expertise in finance, business strategy, and property investment to help clients achieve their goals. A former collegiate and professional athlete, Maurice earned his B.A. from the University of Virginia, where he excelled as a Wide Receiver, and later completed his M.S. in Sports Management at Louisiana State University. After transitioning from football, he spent six years advising student-athletes at UVA and LSU, focusing on academic success, career planning, and financial literacy. He also worked with professional athletes, helping them transition from sports to sustainable careers by leveraging their platforms for long-term business opportunities.
In 2016, Maurice joined the investment world as a financial consultant with REDE Wealth, advising professional athletes, coaches, and entrepreneurs on wealth management and business development. Inspired by his clients' entrepreneurial ambitions, he founded Covington Consulting in 2019, where he specializes in helping clients launch businesses, broker deals, and create sustainable ventures.
