As a Vice President at The Klabin Company, Max Farkas brings nearly a decade of experience advising institutional owners, private investors, and corporate occupiers on industrial real estate transactions throughout Southern California. Since joining the firm in 2017, Max has built a strong track record executing complex, high-value transactions on both the landlord and tenant side, representing some of the region’s most active and sophisticated companies.
Max specializes in industrial investment sales, leasing, and advisory services, with extensive experience working on behalf of major capital sources and operating companies across a wide range of asset classes and deal sizes. He has been directly involved in numerous sizable transactions, including multi-million-dollar investment sales and large-scale lease negotiations. Notably, Max represented publicly traded Digital Realty in the acquisition of a data center site valued in excess of $40 million. He has also represented Maximum Fasteners in multiple property acquisitions for both investment purposes and business expansion, as well as a leading global toy company, Squishmallow, a Berkshire Hathaway entity on industrial real estate assignments.
Known for his strategic approach, market insight, and ability to navigate complex negotiations, Max consistently delivers value for clients operating in competitive environments. His primary focus markets include the Mid-Counties, South Bay, Central Los Angeles, and the Inland Empire.
A former athlete, Max brings a disciplined, team-oriented mindset to his work, viewing each assignment as a collaborative effort focused on achieving the best possible outcome for his clients. His competitive nature, attention to detail, and strong work ethic have been instrumental in building long-term client relationships and repeat business.
Max earned his Bachelor of Arts in Geography from UCLA, where he also completed coursework in real estate finance through the Anderson School of Management. He was born and raised in the South Bay and currently resides in the South Bay with his daughter. Outside of work, Max enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active, golfing, traveling, and going to the beach. He has completed the Los Angeles Marathon and previously lived abroad in Europe.
