Bio
Melissa holds designations as an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR®), Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES®), Military Relocation Professional (MRP®), and e-PRO®. She specializes in downsizing homeowners, luxury listings, relocation clients, first-time buyers, and equestrian and hobby farm properties. As a thoroughbred horse owner herself, she understands the unique needs of horse property buyers and sellers. She has also served on the Professional Standards Committee of her local MLS and as president of her homeowners association, underscoring her leadership and commitment to community.
Melissa’s business is built on giving back. A Homes for Heroes® affiliate for more than 10 years, she has proudly returned over $60,000 of her commissions to local teachers, healthcare workers, firefighters, law enforcement, and veterans. She is widely trusted, with numerous 5-star reviews on platforms such as Zillow and Google.
Melissa’s passion for giving extends beyond real estate through her Homes for Horses initiative. After volunteering at Copperbowl Ranch and Wishbone Ranch through “This Old Horse,” Melissa discovered her heart’s calling: helping rescue and support horses in need. In 2022, she adopted Montana, a filly who was rescued from a kill pen alongside her mother, Mesa. Montana’s story of survival, healing, and new beginnings became Melissa’s inspiration. Today, she donates a portion of every commission to “This Old Horse” to help care for and rehabilitate horses, making every home sale a step toward building brighter futures for both people and animals. Melissa’s own journey into real estate was deeply personal. After facing divorce, bankruptcy, and the loss of her beloved hobby farm, she rebuilt her life as a single mom and found her calling to help others achieve their own homeownership dreams. In 2002, life gave her a second chance at love — and in 2003, she became a REALTOR®. Her business is fueled by empathy, resilience, and the belief that everyone deserves an advocate when buying or selling a home. Melissa invites you to share your story with her, knowing she’ll walk with you every step of the way.
