Melonie Harris assumed the role of Senior Regional Property Manager at Block Multifamily Group in November 2015. Before joining BMG, she embarked on her professional journey with Lincoln Property Company in 1997. With a background that encompasses Assistant Regional Property Manager and Business Manager roles, Melonie has effectively overseen multi-site management, comprising approximately 4,000 units. Her wealth of experience includes a comprehensive skill set, allowing her to adeptly analyze, evaluate, and supervise various aspects such as Financial Performance, Liability Management, Capital Improvements, Business Management, and Personnel. Proficient in developing annual capital and operational budgets, as well as business plans, Melonie excels in conducting due diligence for new acquisitions and providing training to on-site staff in business practices for immediate operations. She has successfully overseen the development and leasing of 12 properties from inception to completion since becoming a part of BMG, totaling 3,255 units. Melonie specializes in new developments and lease-ups, showcasing her proficiency in management. With an additional 17 projects in the pipeline, not limited to local areas but also extending to Cincinnati, OH, Memphis, TN, and Castle Rock, Colorado. In 2010, Melonie successfully obtained her CAM certification, and in 2017, she further bolstered her credentials by achieving the CAPS certification from the National Apartment Association, solidifying her expertise in the field.
