An immigrant who arrived in the U.S. as a child, Mershad’s determination to succeed shaped his pursuit of the American Dream and continues to influence the way he guides clients today. After a successful career in tech startups, he transitioned into real estate in 2016. Since then, he has contributed to apartment developments, luxury residences, construction projects, and investment sales transactions valued at over $250 million with Marcus & Millichap. His decade of hands-on experience includes buying, renovating, renting, and selling properties across Marin, San Francisco, and Oakland.
Beyond transactional real estate, Mershad is passionate about construction and residential development. He has collaborated with some of the region’s most respected general contractors, including Nibbi Brothers, Cahill, Build Group, Johnston Moyer, Woods Partners, and Signature Development. His hands-on experience spans pre-development planning, construction planning, and project estimation, offering clients a rare and comprehensive perspective. Whether advising on a modern update, a fixer-upper ripe for renovation, or a new build poised for growth, Mershad blends vision with execution to help shape communities.
Mershad serves as a board member of the Bareis MLS Management Committee and the Marin County Rotary Club San Rafael Harbor, and remains active with the Larkspur Chamber of Commerce. These roles keep him connected to the pulse of Marin and allow him to bring fresh insights to his clients.
An adventure seeker and outdoor enthusiast, Mershad enjoys hiking Marin’s trails, cooking, exploring new cuisines, and diving into a good book. Above all, he treasures quality time with his partner Katie, their three children, and their German Shepherd, Tyson. A Marin County resident for the past 24 years, he currently resides in Kentfield.
