Mike Green co-founded Virtú Investments with Scott McWhorter in 1997. Since then, they have grown Virtú into a vertically integrated real estate investment firm with over 135 property acquisitions and more than $4.4 billion in total asset value. Under their leadership, Virtú has delivered consistent, top-tier returns to its investors.
As CEO, Mike oversees investor relations, strategic partnerships, asset acquisitions, asset management, and portfolio performance. He also serves as chair of the board for the California Nature Conservancy and for the Roberts Environmental Center at Claremont McKenna College.
Prior to founding Virtú, Mike held an acquisitions role at Bay Apartment Communities (now AvalonBay Communities, NYSE: AVB), a leading Bay Area REIT.
