Michael Kazmierski is President & Principal of Kaufman Investments. Prior to joining the Kaufman Organization, he held positions as both associate director of business development and analyst at HFF, L.P. in the New York Office. As lead analyst, Mr. Kazmierski closed approximately $600 million in transactions including stable and value-add apartments, retail, office, and industrial, as well as development transactions. Prior to joining HFF, Mr. Kazmierski was an Associate at Mesirow Financial Consulting in Boston, the previous restructuring practice of KPMG, where he performed a variety of restructuring and bankruptcy services. Mr. Kazmierski is an alumnus of Bentley University where he earned a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science, with Honors, in Finance. He also earned his Master of Science in Real Estate Development from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
