As President of Cresa’s Data Center Practice, Michael leads a team of top-tier professionals with deep expertise across all areas of the industry. The team’s capabilities span the sale of operating data centers and development sites, asset level and portfolio financing, site selection, occupier solutions, telecommunications, and infrastructure—delivering comprehensive support for clients with mission-critical requirements.
Michael brings over 25 years of experience in the data center and mission-critical sectors, including extensive work with every major hyperscaler. He is also a Certified Professional in multiple data center design specifications, underscoring his technical acumen and leadership in the field. He launched his career at Newmark nearly 30 years ago, where he founded the firm’s data center practice. Over the years, he has led a wide range of mission-critical projects, encompassing all aspects of capital markets, leasing and consulting. His clients include data center developers, occupiers, and landowners, to whom he offers strategic guidance rooted in deep industry experience.
Michael brings a wealth of insight to clients across a broad spectrum of industries, including technology, financial services, energy, and more. Beyond his expertise in mission-critical environments, he has advised numerous multinational corporations on office deployment strategies across major global markets.
