Michael Slusky is the Senior Vice President and Director of Leasing at Pine Tree, where he leads leasing strategy, tenant negotiations, and portfolio merchandising across the company’s national open-air retail platform. Since joining Pine Tree in 2021—and advancing to his current role in 2024—Michael has played a central role in shaping the company’s leasing execution, driving tenant mix strategies, and supporting long-term value creation across a diverse portfolio of community, neighborhood, and power centers.
Before joining Pine Tree, Michael spent more than two decades at Kimco Realty Corporation, where he served as Senior Director of Real Estate. Over his 23-year tenure, he negotiated deals with national, regional, and local retailers across multiple markets, gaining deep expertise in shopping-center leasing, landlord-tenant strategy, and long-term retail planning. His work at Kimco contributed to numerous successful lease-ups, redevelopments, and market-entry strategies for both established and emerging retailers.
Earlier in his career, Michael held leasing and real estate roles with Stonewood Properties and Best Buy.
