Michael Wirth serves as a Managing Director in Newmark’s Milwaukee office, where he specializes in advising clients on multifamily investment sales, development strategies, and capital markets transactions. With a career rooted in hands-on experience and strategic insight, Wirth brings a comprehensive understanding of the multifamily sector—from property operations to institutional investment.
Wirth’s exposure to real estate began early and runs six generations deep. His family played a foundational role in shaping Wisconsin’s political, banking, and real estate landscapes dating back to the 1840s. Building on that legacy, he has established himself as a trusted advisor to private and institutional clients, navigating complex acquisitions, dispositions, and repositioning strategies.
Prior to joining Newmark, Wirth was a Senior Associate Director with MMG Real Estate Advisors, where he led the Wisconsin office and played a key role in nearly $3 billion in multifamily transactions nationally.
