Michelle S. Siv serves as Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Whitestone REIT, where she leads the company’s people strategy, human resources operations, and compliance functions. In her current role, Siv is responsible for overseeing talent management, organizational development, compensation and benefits programs, and HR policy governance across Whitestone’s national platform. She also plays a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting executive leadership and the Board of Trustees on workforce-related matters, and aligning human capital initiatives with the company’s strategic objectives. Siv was promoted to Senior Vice President following her earlier advancement to Vice President of Human Resources, reflecting her long-standing leadership within the organization and continued expansion of responsibility.
Siv joined Whitestone REIT in 2014 and previously served as Director of Human Resources, where she established and led the firm’s centralized HR function during a period of organizational evolution and portfolio growth. Prior to Whitestone, she held human resources management roles at WellCare Health Plans and The Home Depot, gaining experience in employee relations, operational HR, and compliance within large, multi-location organizations. Her career reflects more than 25 years of experience in human resources leadership, spanning healthcare, retail, and real estate-adjacent environments, before assuming executive-level responsibility at a publicly traded REIT.
