Mike Gallo provides nearly 30 years of exceptional real estate sales, leasing, appraisal,
consulting and development experience to Clients that he represents. He has participated
in leasing and sales transactions in all property classifications: commercial, residential,
multi-family, retail, industrial, mixed use, special use and land development. Mike is
particularly adept in investment sales of all properties utilizing strategic marketing and
positioning techniques unique for each property. His expertise in land sales for
development has provided opportunities to work with many of the largest builders in the
Chicago area. He has responsibility at BW Phillips for all sales and leasing activities and
is a key member of the executive team.
Before joining BW Phillips as Senior Vice President, Mike served as Vice President and
Managing Broker for Baird & Warner Commercial Services and as Owner/General
Manager of Gallo Realty & Construction.
Baird & Warner Commercial Services
As Vice President and Managing Broker was responsible for all forty branchoffice
locations including site selection, facilities analysis, lease negotiations
and tenant improvements. Provided and managed tenant representation
services to private and corporate businesses. Performed feasibility analyses for
new acquisitions and mergers. Responsibilities also involved investment sales
of office, industrial and retail properties and land development projects.
Additionally, provided consulting and appraisal studies for various clients for
investment grade properties. Representative clients: LaSalle Bank Wealth
Management Group, G. E. Capital, State of Illinois, Village of Grayslake, and
Concord Homes.
Gallo Realty & Construction
As Owner and General Manager, provided real estate brokerage services in
commercial and residential sales, leasing, property management and appraisal.
Responsible as developer and general contractor for several single family
home, office and retail developments.
Relevant Career History
Prior to his career in real estate, Mike was a Project Engineer for several
design/build firms where he was responsible for commercial and industrial
project developments.
Mike’s depth of knowledge in all property types, insightful analysis of
acquisition/disposition opportunities, marketing acumen and key industry
contacts developed in transactions among real estate professionals, provides
BW Phillip’s clients with exceptional sales and leasing expertise and services.
Education
A graduate of the Illinois Institute of Technology, with a degree in engineering, Mike
also has his CCIM designation from the CCIM Institute. Mike is currently pursuing
further education in the field of appraisal. Mike is a licensed Illinois Real Estate Broker.

Commercial Association of Realtors, the Illinois Association of Realtors and the
South/Southwest Association of Realtors.
