Mike Hieshima joined SRS Real Estate Partners in 2026 and serves as a Senior Vice President & Principal in the Santa Barbara office. Mike is a seasoned retail real estate professional with more than 38 years of experience. He has multifaceted expertise both locally and nationally with a focus on strategic expansion of retailers and landlord representation in development, acquisition and disposition.
Prior to joining SRS, Mike was an executive director at Lockehouse Retail Group. He has also served as a managing partner at TSCG, President and Chairman of ChainLinks Retail Advisors, and Vice President of Development for Jamba Juice. During his 5 years with Jamba Juice, Mike was responsible for developing and growing the brand from 13 to 315 stores, operating in 19 states. The balance of Mike’s career was spent with Epsteen & Associates, starting in 1986, then opening and operating the Central Coast office in 2000.
Mike’s partial list of commercial clients includes Ross, REI, Sprouts, Sweetgreen, 7 Brew, Laseraway. He has over two million square feet of listings with landlord relationships that include Regency Centers, The Kroenke Group, Brixton, The Towbes Group, and Paynter Development. In addition to leasing, Mike has been involved in several of the largest sales transactions in multiple counties in Southern California.
Mike studied biology at San Diego State University and the University of California Los Angeles before starting his career in real estate. He is the founder and current president of the non-profit Warrior for Peace (www.warriorforpeace.org), which is an organization supporting our veterans and active-duty military.
