After working for eleven years with the law firm of Kennedy, Covington, Lobdell & Hickman as a partner specializing in commercial real estate development and leasing law, Mike joined Collett in November, 2006 as a development partner. Over the past 19 years at Collett, Mike has played a key role in the development and leasing efforts of multiple retail, industrial and medical office developments in the Midwest and Southeast – including projects in North and South Carolina, Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Tennessee and Georgia. With nearly 30 years of experience in commercial real estate, Mike has developed an expertise with respect to the ground up development of commercial sites, including tenant negotiations, restrictive covenants, primary and mezzanine financing and the disposition of commercial real estate. As a development partner at Collett, Mike is focused on expanding the Company's development portfolio and assisting with the marketing and leasing of existing projects.
