Bio
As Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Noble, Mr. Shah sets the firm’s strategic direction and chairs its Investment Committee, overseeing Noble’s investment discipline, capital allocation framework, and long-term value-creation strategy across the travel and hospitality real estate ecosystem.
Over more than three decades, Mr. Shah has led Noble through multiple market cycles, building a platform grounded in risk management, partnership alignment, and durable cash-flow generation. Under his leadership, Noble has focused on creating institutional-quality assets, scalable operating platforms, and repeatable value-creation initiatives that align investor outcomes with long-term sector fundamentals. His contributions to the evolution of modern hospitality and extended-stay housing have been recognized by Newsweek, which profiled him as one of the most influential South Asian leaders in the United States, as well as by the Atlanta Business Chronicle, Atlanta Magazine, and Georgia Trend for advancing both industry innovation and institutional-grade investment stewardship.
Mr. Shah’s governance experience includes serving as Chair of the Board of La Quinta (NYSE: LQ) and CorePoint Lodging REIT (NYSE: CPLG), where he helped guide both organizations through successful public market realizations for shareholders. He currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of the American Hotel & Lodging Association, Co-Chairs its Industry Real Estate and Finance Advisory Council, and sits on the owner boards of Marriott International, Hilton Hotels, and Hyatt Hotels Corporation — providing strategic perspective at the intersection of capital formation, operating performance, and global brand systems.
His leadership extends to long-term institutional stewardship and philanthropy. Mr. Shah has been honored as Executive of the Year by The Pennsylvania State University and is a recipient of the Wake Forest University Distinguished Alumni Award. He is the 2026 recipient of the Arne Sorenson Social Impact Leadership Award, reflecting a belief that disciplined investment, responsible growth, and enduring community impact can reinforce one another across cycles.
Mr. Shah is serving his fifth term on the Board of Trustees at Wake Forest University, where he chairs the Investment Committee and supports the university’s long-term mission with a focus on prudent capital oversight, governance continuity, and intergenerational resilience.
