Based in New York, Viralam leads a group that serves as a centralized resource supporting Newmark’s brokerage teams and complements Newmark’s broader real estate advisory capabilities. With nearly two decades of experience advising corporate occupiers, Viralam specializes in developing and executing real estate strategies and transactions. His work spans a broad range of initiatives, helping organizations align real estate investments with business objectives while identifying opportunities, mitigating risks and enhancing transaction outcomes.
Prior to joining Newmark, Viralam held leadership positions at CBRE, where he was recognized as one of Commercial Observer’s Top 30 Real Estate Brokers Under 30 and was twice named the Consulting Group’s Professional of the Year. Throughout his career, he has been known for combining analytical rigor, transaction expertise, and collaborative leadership to help clients solve their most challenging real estate issues.
