Nancy Sexton is the founder and owner of The Muse Rooms, a coworking and creative space company based in Los Angeles. She launched the business in 2015 with the goal of creating an inspiring, community-driven environment for freelancers, entrepreneurs, and small businesses. Her vision was to offer an alternative to traditional corporate coworking spaces by providing a welcoming atmosphere that fosters collaboration and creativity.
Before starting The Muse Rooms, Nancy built a diverse career in the entertainment industry. She began as a professional model and later transitioned into music, spending several years in Italy as a singer. Her creative pursuits also included hosting fitness shows on FitTV and the Travel Channel, as well as working as a screenwriter. These experiences shaped her understanding of the needs of creative professionals, which became the foundation for The Muse Rooms’ mission.
Nancy has been recognized for her resilience and adaptability, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, when she navigated significant challenges to keep her business operational. She even testified before Congress about the difficulties small businesses faced in accessing federal relief programs. Today, Nancy continues to lead The Muse Rooms with a focus on providing flexible, affordable workspaces that empower professionals to thrive.
