Naomi Riu Rodríguez, born in Santo Domingo in 1992, is the Chief Financial Officer of the RIU Group and Chief Operating Officer for the Indian Ocean region. A graduate in Business Administration from EAE University of Barcelona with a master’s in Audit and Accounting, she began her career with internships at CaixaBank and later worked at PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Madrid. Naomi gained hands-on experience in hotel operations across Mallorca and the Canary Islands, including a memorable role as assistant site manager during the renovation of Riu Vistamar. Today, she oversees financial strategy, EMEA procurement, corporate social responsibility, and billing and collections. As Managing Director, she also leads operations for RIU hotels in Zanzibar, Dubai, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Mauritius, Thailand, and the Riu Plaza properties in Madrid, London, and Dublin.
