With 20 years in commercial real estate, Neal Swanson brings a well-rounded perspective shaped by roles as a broker, landlord, tenant, asset manager, marketing manager, and entrepreneur.
He began in Seattle as a marketing manager for top brokerage teams at Cushman & Wakefield and Colliers, later founding his own firm focused on tenant representation for brands like Five Guys, Ace Hardware, and Nature’s Path across the West Coast.
Neal then acted as a portfolio asset manager for a $500M office and retail portfolio for a generational owner-developer, aligning long-term strategy with execution, development planning, marketing, and transactions.
Now Director of Brokerage and Marketing at NAI Elliott in Portland, he specializes in family-held portfolios across retail, office, and industrial property types. Neal has participated in over $500M in office and retail transactions, with a focus on strategic planning, execution, and value creation.
His entrepreneurial experience—including owning a bakery, brokerage, and a publishing company adds depth to his understanding of client needs and strengthens his role as a strategic advisor.
