Bio
Nelson entered the real estate profession in 1976. He has worked as a builder, broker, appraiser, investor, consultant and developer. He has participated in the construction and renovation of single-family residences in western North Carolina, the acquisition and renovation of single-family homes in Dallas, management and leasing of office and retail properties, the construction of residential subdivisions in the Dallas area, development of garden and high-rise multi-family communities in Texas and California, the acquisition of existing apartments in Texas, Louisiana and Florida, and has served as an appraiser and consultant in sixteen states across the United States. Nelson spent considerable time in the late 1980s consulting with financially distressed savings and loan institutions in Texas and Oklahoma.
