Bio
Nick joined Phoenix Commercial in January 2026 as Principal, bringing over 30 years of comprehensive experience across the commercial, industrial, hospitality, multi-residential, recreational and institutional sectors. A seasoned strategist, Nick provides clients with a sophisticated blend of transactional expertise and advisory services, defined by a disciplined and transparent approach.
Throughout his career, which began with a commercial brokerage in Vancouver in the mid-1990’s, Nick has successfully navigated diverse international markets, including Canada, South Africa, and the United Kingdom. His track record includes overseeing high-profile "trophy" acquisitions for global entities, leading an agency department for a firm of chartered surveyors in London and serving as Group Property Director for a UK-based private equity group.
Over the past decade, Nick has leveraged his public sector experience to manage large-scale land and building divestitures and acquisitions for Federal government departments, engagement with First Nations and Provincial Authorities.
Nick’s technical proficiency is supported by a robust academic foundation, including an MSc in Real Estate from the University College of Estate Management (Reading, UK), a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from the Schulich School of Business, a Marketing Management Diploma from BCIT, and he earned the Project Management Professional (PMP) designation (now lapsed).
Based on the Sunshine Coast, though delivering realty services to clients across the Province of BC, Nick is an active member of his communities and an outdoor enthusiast. Whether hiking, skiing, boating and fishing or mountain biking, he brings the same spirit of adventure and dedication to his personal life as he does to his clients' real estate portfolios.
