Bio
The son of a home builder turned developer, Nick King grew up in the construction and real estate development world. Born in Dublin, Ireland and raised in Westport, Connecticut, Nick has been professionally involved in acquiring, developing, leasing, and selling real estate for over 20 years. His primary focus has been industrial and commercial space over the last 15 years, mainly working as a real estate investor and manager for private investors,including media mogul H.F. “Gerry” Lenfest and Andrew Tyska, owner of Bristol Marine.
Nick has been on all sides of real estate deals as a client representative, buyer, seller, landlord, tenant and property manager. Beyond holding a real estate license in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, Nick is also a licensed Rhode Island contractor having developed properties in the area and is able to advise clients on zoning, land use, environmental issues and construction.
Nick graduated from the University of Rochester with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. After graduation Nick’s love of the ocean led him to begin his career as a yacht designer, making many ties to the marine trades, including Bristol Marine, where he currently serves as Vice President. His other passions include all things outdoors, including enjoying as much time as possible in his wife’s home country of Argentina.
