Omar S. McKeithan is a commercial real estate professional with 19 years of experience specializing in lease negotiations, acquisitions, dispositions, cash flow analysis, and site evaluation. He represents clients across the office, medical, industrial, flex, multifamily, and land development sectors at both the state and local levels.
Omar began his career at CoStar Group, Inc. in 2007 in Bethesda, MD, where he developed a strong foundation in market research, data analysis, and business development, gaining a unique perspective on brokerage and real estate development. He has worked in major markets including Washington, DC, Baltimore, South Florida, Chicago, and Charlotte, providing him with a broad understanding of diverse market dynamics.
This experience has enabled Omar to consistently deliver exceptional outcomes for his clients. Notable transactions include the sale of 10003 Derekwood Lane, a 50,000-square-foot office building, and 4600 Forbes Boulevard, an 80,000-square-foot office building, both located in Lanham, Maryland. In addition, Omar led the disposition of the Diener’s Carpet & Tile portfolio, totaling more than 100,000 square feet of industrial space, setting a high-water mark for transactions in the submarket. He also represented and facilitated the relocation of the federally appointed Chapter 13 Trustee from Bowie to Annapolis, Maryland. Throughout his career, Omar has always been passionate about helping organizations optimize occupancy costs to support business scalability, while assisting landlords in leasing vacancies and maximizing overall asset performance.
