Pat has been active in the commercial real estate business for more than 30 years. During that period of time he has held broker licenses in the states of Montana, Minnesota and most currently in Florida. He received his Certified Property Manager’ s (CPM) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management in 1987. Prior to that, he successfully completed the Advanced Real Estate Program at the University of Minnesota.
In 1986, Pat joined the OPUS Corporation in Minnesota and was assigned to head their Asset Management duties for 2 million square feet of Class A downtown and suburban office properties. In 1988, he accepted the position of Vice President of the Southeast United States Region and relocated to Tampa, Fla. His duties included overseeing management and leasing of a 7.5 million square feet portfolio stretching from Texas through Florida and up to Maryland.
Since the mid 1990s, Pat has been the representative for the St. Paul/Travelers real estate investment division in expanding and operating their Florida portfolio. St. Paul/Travelers currently owns nine buildings in the Tampa Bay market totaling approximately 800,000 square feet.
In 2002, Pat created his own company, Summit Advisors, Inc., to better serve and assist the growth of its client’ s investments. In June of 2010 Summit was acquired by Redstone Asset Management and Pat serves as Senior Vice President of the company.
Pat has negotiated over 200 lease transactions with a value of in excess of $275 million. He has served on multiple boards through his affiliations with IREM, NAIOP, BOMA and other business and charitable organizations including Wounded Warrior and Catholic charity programs. He is married with two daughters and is blessed with two grandsons. When he’s not spending time with the family you’ll find him on the links playing golf.
