Patrick advises Institutional and private landowners on all aspects of planning and development strategy for large scale development projects across the UK. This includes negotiations with local authorities and house builders; development appraisals; viability expertise; advice in relation to land values; and negotiating promotion, option and equalisation agreements. Patrick is responsible for the sale of development sites at pre and post planning permission stages and the acquisition of strategic development land. Recent projects include disposal of 800 units in Essex to a consortium of house builders; promotion strategy for 9,000 units in Kent; viability negotiations and subsequent disposal of 800 units in Ely; appointment of a master developer for a 5,000 unit scheme in Cambridge and acquisition advice for 150 acres of strategic land near Hayes, London
