Mr. Spiegel is a founding partner of SCRE, a multi-faceted real estate firm.
Mr. Spiegel began his real estate career in 1982 as a salesperson with Edward S. Gordon Company, Inc. (Insignia/ESG, more recently acquired by CB Richard Ellis). While there, he was involved in investment sales, corporate tenant representation, and ownership representation.
During Mr. Spiegel’s career, he has negotiated hundreds of leases valued well in excess of $1.5 billion. He has represented numerous corporate and institutional clients: CIBC as a sublease agent for 65,000 sq. ft. at 245 Park Avenue; Citibank in its disposition of 115,000 sq. ft. at 330 Madison Avenue; The Sumitomo Trust & Banking Company in the expansion of its New York City headquarters; Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. in both the expansion of its branch brokerage facilities (throughout the Northeast) and numerous corporate transactions including a 575,000 sq. ft. Charles Schwab consolidation and planned relocation of its’ Market Maker in Jersey City, NJ. Other notable corporate clients have included AT&T, Tokio Marine Insurance, Chase Manhattan Bank, Monster Worldwide, and Mercer Consulting Group.
