Paul K. Talbot, Senior Managing Director of Newmark, joined the company in 2000 after 12 years as President and Owner of First Capital Corporation. In his 31 years of real estate financing and sales experience, Talbot has built long-term business relationships with top financial institutions and real estate developers, allowing him to provide the highest possible service to clients. Talbot has secured financing and equity for properties throughout the United States amounting to more than 2 billion dollars in transactions. Representative deals from a wide range portfolio include: the office buildings at 101 Park Avenue, 875 Third Avenue, and Bristol and Somerset Apartments in New York City; Tycon Towers and Greensboro Corporate Center in Tysons Corner Virginia; Circle Towers Apartment complex in Fairfax, Virginia; the Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles; International Paper Company office building in Memphis, Tennessee; Monmouth Consumer Square Shopping Center, West Long Branch, New Jersey; Home Depot shopping center in Newark, Delaware, Monmouth Mall in Eatontown, New Jersey; West Side Rail Yards, New York City; and the $550,000,000 sale of RF&P Properties, consisting of the 342 acre Potomac Yards and various properties in Crystal City, Fairfax, Richmond and other locations in Northern Virginia. While continuing to service his outside clients, Talbot has recently handled the financing for commercial real estate Principals Jeff Gural and Barry Gosin. Properties financed in New York include 520 Eighth Avenue, 200 Varick Street, 230 Fifth Avenue, 171 Madison Avenue, 5-9 Union Square as well the construction and renovation of 150 Bay Street in Jersey City, New Jersey. Talbot’s success is based upon longstanding professional relationships with key financial institutions including insurance companies, commercial banks, conduits, pension funds, Mezz and Equity funds and savings banks, in addition to major developers and investors throughout the U.S. and abroad.
