Bio
Paul is a Managing Director and is responsible for the acquisition and development for Hines projects in North and South Carolina. In this role, he provides market leadership to determine investment strategy, source and capitalize opportunities, coordinate with Hines’ functional experts, and execute development projects.
Since joining Hines in 2016, Paul has been involved in developing and acquiring more than 3 million square feet of property across mixed-use, multifamily, office, retail, industrial and BTR product types, totaling over $1.5 billion. He is responsible for leading a number of developments throughout the Carolinas including the execution of the firm’s village creation strategy, which culminated in the delivery of the first phase of Fenton, a multi-phased, vertically integrated mixed-use village in Cary, North Carolina, and Blu South, the firm’s first BTR acquisition. Before opening Hines’ Raleigh office, Paul was involved with developing multifamily and mixed-use projects in Florida.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Duke University and a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
