Peter Tropoli serves as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Whitestone REIT, overseeing all legal affairs of the company. He was appointed General Counsel in 2019, bringing extensive executive experience from his tenure at Luby’s, a NYSE-listed restaurant operating company. At Luby’s, Tropoli held multiple leadership roles including Chief Operating Officer (2011–2018), General Counsel (2001–2011), Corporate Secretary (2006–2011), and served on the Board of Directors from 2014 to 2019. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Houston Law Center.
