Peter M. Tuttman joined Newmark Grubb Knight Frank in 2002 as senior managing director at the firm’s Manhattan headquarters. For over 20 years, Mr. Tuttman has provided tenant representation services to a diverse group of tenants in advertising, communications, law, not-for-profit, retail and publishing. Mr. Tuttman brings a unique expertise and insight to real estate marketing and strategies from a broad career in advertising, film and television production. Prominent corporations Mr. Tuttman has represented in the acquisition and disposition of office space include: the Asian Cultural Council; NYC & Company; J.C. Penny; M. Booth and Associates; Arri/CSC; United Scenic Artists; McCann-Erickson; Interpublic Group; DeVito/Verdi; Margeotes/Fertitta & Partners; The Fragrance Foundation; Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz; Chanel USA; and David Barton Gym. In 2007, after 14 years as exclusive leasing agent for the Movielab Building, 619 West 54th Street, Mr. Tuttman brokered the sale of the 300,000-square-foot property to KBS Realty Advisors for $110 million. He also represented both the buyer and seller in the sale of 62 Cooper Square, a 150,000-square-foot property. Mr. Tuttman has represented landlords in the Midtown and Midtown South markets, concluding transactions with Atlantic Records, Universal Music Group, Advent Software, Viacom, Prada, Armani A/X, Timeout Publications, Prodigy, and was the sole broker in the 58,000-square-foot expansion and renewal of Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz at 619 West 54th Street. Prior to joining Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, Mr. Tuttman was an executive vice president at Harper Lawrence, Inc. Mr. Tuttman is a member of The Real Estate Board of New York and has been a member of The Directors Guild of America for over 30 years. Mr. Tuttman attended Middlebury College and Columbia University.
