Bio
Phatima Keita heads Teranga Hospitality’s revenue intelligence department, contributing in developing and improving strategic partner revenue models and making recommendations for rate changes, keeping track of revenue against market behavior and looking for ways to improve it, and determining its direction and trend against that of the comp set. Phatima exhibits exceptional skills in preventing financial leakages, most notably by investigating and responding to chargebacks. She communicates with various banks and processing companies such as Bank of America, American Express, Elavon, and Shift4 to provide a timely response to the outcome of her investigation. She consolidates all information into a comprehensive strategic response that contextualizes and enhances the bank’s understanding of chargebacks in support of our clients. Phatima conducts a review of our strategic partner financial transactions, sales contracts, and business practices. She also monitors day-to-day transactions and captures any errors. She examines and analyzes bank statements, net revenue, and franchise billing activities to ensure the completeness and accuracy of all required transactions and charges. She is an essential and critical part of the business growth of our strategic partners as she suggests a way to improve revenue, and brings attention to any issues about transactions, business procedures, and financial leakages. Phatima plays the critical role of identifying revenue control risks and helps develop and implement relevant revenue control initiatives and monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of revenue initiatives. She proactively mitigates risks by analyzing information and dissecting it in a manner that all can understand, mitigate, and neutralize any threat of revenue loss. Phatima loves to develop, validate, challenge, and explain key trends, indicators, and performance. She is a firm believer in teamwork. She is without a doubt the guru of developing relationships, managing financial networks, and facilitating information sharing across our different departments. She is always collaborating with the business development and strategic partnership team to identify and resolve client-related issues, and collaborating with operations and sales teams to understand what impacts revenue and provide indicators of changing revenue markets.
