Philip Laffey, a seasoned real estate leader, oversees brokerage operations for Laffey Real Estate’s Nassau, Suffolk, and Queens Divisions. Launching his real estate career as a rental agent on his 18th birthday in 1984, Mr. Laffey has ascended through pivotal roles across Long Island and Queens, including management positions in New Hyde Park, Roslyn, Bellerose, Greenvale, and Great Neck. His comprehensive expertise drives his commitment to agent education and development, embodied in the founding of Laffey Real Estate's "Gold Circle" Training program, which prepares a select team of agents to excel in the luxury Fine Homes & Estates market.
In addition to his brokerage responsibilities, Mr. Laffey serves as Principal of both Landworks Title Agency, a full-service title insurance agency, and Morgan Management Corp., a luxury home-building company. These ventures enable him to apply his industry insights and leadership skills across the real estate spectrum.
Mr. Laffey’s academic achievements include graduating with honors from Chaminade High School in 1984 and earning a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Boston College in 1988. His studies extended internationally, with a program at Syracuse University in London that enhanced his understanding of finance and global business.
A dedicated community advocate, Mr. Laffey has served on the Board of Easter Seals New York since 2005. He brings joy as a long-time Santa Claus at the Easter Seals School in the Bronx, having personally facilitated the donation of over 20,000 toys to children in need. This commitment aligns with Easter Seals’ mission to support individuals with special needs toward independence, a cause that resonates deeply with Mr. Laffey’s values.
