Randall (“Randy”) Benderson is President of Benderson Development, a privately held U.S. commercial real estate development, ownership, and management company. In this role, he leads the firm’s national portfolio of retail, office, industrial, and mixed-use properties, overseeing long-term ownership strategy, large-scale commercial development, and expansion across multiple U.S. markets. Benderson Development controls more than 1,000 properties totaling over 55 million square feet across approximately 40 states.
Benderson joined the family business early in his career and advanced through multiple leadership roles within Benderson Development, including positions in marketing, leasing, and development before assuming executive leadership. He succeeded his father, Nathan Benderson, who founded the company in 1949, and continues to lead the firm’s long-term real estate investment and development strategy, including landmark projects such as the Mall at University Town Center in Sarasota-Manatee, Florida.
