Bio
Randy oversees all financial aspects of the company, investor relations, property management, leasing, acquisitions, dispositions, and development. His expertise includes the ability to locate value in existing retail properties, development of retail properties with above average returns and a focused and efficient leasing and property management process. Randy was formerly vice president and chief operating officer of United Investors Realty Trust, a publicly-traded real estate investment trust, and Equity One Realty and Management Texas, Inc. He also served as Director of Acquisitions and Dispositions for both companies. In his capacity as an officer of these entities, he engaged in the acquisition of approximately $300 million and the disposition of approximately $50 million of income producing commercial properties and the management of over 3.5 million square feet of shopping center space. Since the formation of KM Realty in 2003, Mr. Keith through its affiliate partnerships has acquired 21 land parcels, developed or is in the process of developing 16 shopping centers on these land parcels, developed five single tenant buildings, acquired 20 shopping centers, and redeveloped four of these centers. In addition, KM Realty through its affiliate partnerships over the past four years has closed a total of over $45 million in long term, fixed rate refinancing of nine retail projects, which resulted in significant distributions to limited partners, and has sold 11 of the shopping centers it acquired or developed. Randy is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin where he received a B.B.A. in Accounting. Randy is a former Certified Public Accountant and a Registered Investment Advisor licensed by the National Association of Securities Dealers, Chartered Financial Analyst (Level I), and is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
