In 1978 he purchased a 6 acre tract of land for $23,000 with 78% owner financing. Six months later the property appraised at $155,000 and he was sold on the real estate business. Twenty seven years later he is engaged fulltime as a commercial real estate broker and Developer. He is a licensed real state broker in the State of Florida and the State of Georgia. In Georgia He owns Randy Krise Realty which has been a commercial brokerage licensed since 1984.
He spent most of his early life in Marietta, Georgia. He was active in the community and served on numerous boards and foundations. As an entrepreneur he also owned childcare centers for over 26 years. A keen interest in politics led him to stand for public office.
He is a veteran of the United States Air Force where he served on a launch crew for the Titan II ICBM. This missile was the largest nuclear weapon in the United States arsenal.
Heattended the University of Georgia, Georgia State University and Kennesaw State University.
He is married to Arvey who is also a Registered Nurse turned residential real estate salesperson.
He has a daughter Beth Krise who resides in Marietta, Georgia and three step children. They are Nikki Stauffer of Peoria, Illinois where she resides with her builder husband, Mike. Oliver Sliva a student at the University of Colorado and former U.S. Army ranger with tours in both Afghanistan and Iraq. And Rueben Sliva a chef at Cru restaurant in Fort Myers where he resides with his wife Erin Steele Sliva. He and Arvey have a 22 year old grandson named Trevor.
