Robert R. (Ranny) Nimocks is a 1972 graduate of Appalachian State University with a BA degree in Political Science. He was employed as a Sales Representative for Burroughs Corporation (now Unisys) from 1973 through 1975. He worked as an appraiser with the Cumberland County Tax Supervisor''s office from 1975 through 1980, attending numerous appraisal courses through the Society of Real Estate Appraisers and the Appraisal Institute and acquired a North Carolina Real Estate Broker''s License in 1976. A 1981 graduate of the North Carolina Realtors Institute, he was licensed as a general contractor in 1987.
Since 1980 he has been engaged in commercial and investment real estate brokerage primarily in Cumberland County, North Carolina and received the CCIM professional designation through the Realtors National Marketing Institute in 1990.
