Reid Sheaffer is a licensed real estate broker, providing tenant advisory services to the corporate, legal, and financial sectors of the downtown Chicago commercial market.
A graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Reid began his career as an associate with Fujikawa Johnson Gobel Architects, the original studio of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. His team at FJG designed iconic Chicago properties such as the One Illinois Center and Chicago Federal Center — buildings defined by their black steel, dark glass, and expansive open plazas. Building on this foundation, Reid established his LLC, RCS Development, in 2020.
