Richard Friedman is a Managing Director of Client Services. Richard is responsible for the business development process for Greystar's California division, which includes lead development, predevelopment consulting, underwriting, market assessment, and strategic planning for both potential and new assets under management.
Richard started his multifamily career in 1994 with R&B Apartment Management Company. He joined Trammell Crow Residential Services in 1996, which later became Riverstone Residential Group. He achieved the Vice President position within both organizations and was responsible for all phases of property management. Richard is actively involved with several apartment associations and is a frequent speaker at industry events.
Richard received his bachelor's of arts degree in Marine Affairs from the University of Miami, Florida.
