Richard was born in Southwest Virginia where he went to Roanoke College and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts. After college Richard went on to build a restaurant career working in Nashville and San Francisco. As a restauranteur he ventured out of the US to open locations in Medellin Colombia and Rio de Janeiro Brazil. Richard returned to Vero to be close to family and to raise his 7-year-old daughter. In his spare time Richard is a soccer coach and involved with Indian River Soccer Association.
