Rick is responsible for all aspects of the financial functions at Clover Hotel Group. He directs the treasury cash management, and oversees the payroll, accounts payable, and the financial reporting for the Company. Rick plays an integral role in CHG’s financial success. His focus is solely on the Company’s long term profitability, through sound accounting practices, budgeting, tax planning, and risk management.
Raised in both India and the West Indies, Rick assisted his family in developing a successful and well-known retail enterprise in Trinidad, before immigrating to the United States in 1980. Here he, with his brother and father, purchased and managed his first hotel in Atlanta, Georgia. Since then Rick has been involved in the development and management of many different hotel properties throughout the Southeast.
