RInkesh's story began in 1998 when he arrived in United States with his brother Mitesh and Parents on May 18, 1998. Due to the sudden and rapid decline in India’s diamond exchange, the family business had to be closed and they decided to stay in the United States in pursuit of a better life for their children and to earn enough money to help repay the debts incurred in the business back home.
Life with family took Rinkesh to a small town called Opelika located in southeast Alabama. While shadowing his Uncle, Rinkesh learned how to manage hotels at the age of 16 and gained first-hand experience about hotel development and construction. After high school Rinkesh and Mitesh attended Auburn University.
In 2002, along with their parents, Rinkesh masterminded the family’s first business deal purchasing the Days Inn in Phenix City, Alabama and operated under the corporation name RAM Hotels. The family poured their heart and soul into this endeavor in just two years were able to save enough money to purchase their next hotel.
After several more deals and new development projects, in 2007 Ram Hotels was approved to develop their first Hilton brand hotel in Phenix City, AL.
RAM Hotels currently has 18 Hotels that are opened, 4 Under Construction and 4 in Pipeline. Their portfolio consists of very highly marketable and dominate brands such has Hampton, Hilton Garden, Home2, Courtyard, TownePlace, Fairfield and Holiday Inn Express. In 2016-2018 their investment budget came to close with $185 Million in new development in State of Alabama, 2019-2021 development budget is $135 million of which $65 million is under construction and balance to commence in 2020 which will bring our total portfolio in excess of $325 Million which will engage 650+ Full & Part time team members. Along with a robust staff of 16+ at our corporate office.
