Rob and Susanna Hof have deep roots in Forest Hills. For each of them real estate is part of their family tradition. In fact Rob's maternal grandfather began in Forest Hills real estate in 1910 as vice president of the Cord Meyer Development Corporation and sold Susanna's grandparents their first home in Forest Hills' Arbor Close. Those were the days when daisy fields lined Queens Blvd. and plans were being laid for a garden city just a short commute across the Queensboro Bridge from Manhattan. Rob's paternal grandparents and their families were also involved in residential and commercial real estate in both Forest Hills and Manhattan since the early 1900s and were active supporters of philanthropic causes in the community.
