Robert Hoyt joined York Properties in 2019 and brings extensive experience representing tenants, owners, and investors across office, industrial, and retail real estate. Robert is known for his disciplined, client-first approach and for advocating aggressively to achieve the strongest possible economic outcomes on behalf of his clients.
Over the course of his career, Robert has completed more than 700 transactions valued at over $400 million, totaling more than 5.5 million square feet. His experience includes the sale of the historic Boylan Pearce Building in Downtown Raleigh and the completion of more than 50,000 square feet of leases for TKXS. He has represented a wide range of notable clients, including AJ Fletcher Foundation, American Underground, Automated Insights, Bull City Ciderworks, Capitol Broadcasting, Kane Realty Corporation, Spectrum, Informatica, and the North Carolina Sustainable Energy Association, among others.
Robert holds an active North Carolina real estate license and is involved in several community and professional organizations, including the Downtown Raleigh Alliance Economic Development Committee, Triangle Area Office Building Association (TRAOBA), Habitat for Humanity, and the Cape Fear Surfrider Foundation. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from North Carolina State University.
Outside of work, Robert enjoys spending Saturdays in the Triangle starting with brunch at PR, followed by ciders at Bull City Ciderworks in Cary, and dinner at Stanbury.
