Mr. Mahoney joined CB Richard Ellis' Schaumburg, Illinois office in 1990. Prior to joining CB Richard Ellis, Mr. Mahoney was employed by Price Waterhouse and specialized in the retail and real estate industries. Subsequent to that, he was employed in financial and marketing management for a large consumer products company in Chicago. In 1990 he joined CB Richard Ellis as an Investment Property Specialist. Focusing exclusively on retail properties nationally since 1995 serving both institutional and private clients, he has sold over 30 million square feet of properties valued in excess of $2 billion. In 1996, he and three other brokers formed the Chicago Shopping Center Investment Team. That team is recognized as CB Richard Ellis' leading retail investment property team nationally and won the 1998 CB Richard Ellis Team Recognition Award.
