Robert "Bob" Mallett joined the Palo Alto office of Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation (MMCC) in 2011. As First Vice President of Capital Markets, Mr. Mallett is responsible for securing commercial debt and equity financing for an array of property types including multifamily, manufactured housing, office and industrial, retail, seniors housing and hospitality. He is well connected with national, regional and local funding sources including, but not limited to, agency lenders (e.g. Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac), commercial banks, CMBS lenders, life insurance companies, private and public funds and bridge lenders. Mr. Mallett has more than 25 years of commercial real estate finance experience with recent loan transactions in the $1 million -$50 million loan size. He also specializes in complex workout negotiations and investor relations, as well as investment portfolio and REO asset management, tenant leasing, and the appraisal and marketing of properties.
Mr. Mallett is a graduate of the University of Texas, where he earned an MBA in finance and real estate investment analysis. He is a licensed real estate broker in California and a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association.
