In the world of commercial real estate, Robert ‘Bob’ Merkt is an exceptional leader to have on your side. Bob has more than 27 years of real estate experience and 16 years in commercial real estate, where he has established a great reputation and track record with retail and office properties. In particular, Bob uses his knowledge of commercial real estate financing to support clients with their valuations and financial questions. Bob’s history in banking serves all Rath Equity clients well. He draws on his past experience in underwriting to accurately evaluate properties and forecast their performance spending years, and he spent years performing lender/investor property site inspections in Cincinnati, Dayton, Lexington, Louisville and Atlanta.
As a native Cincinnatian and long-term East Sider, Bob knows the ins and outs of the Greater Cincinnati region and how the community impacts the financial aspects of a property. Bob is a US Navy veteran, a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, and a licensed commercial real estate agent in the State of Ohio. He is a member of the Commercial Real Estate Council of Greater Cincinnati, Cincinnati Area Board of Realtors, and Ohio Board of Realtors.
