Robert Richter joined Becknell Industrial as SVP – Development & Investments in May 2025.
With more than two decades of leadership in industrial development, investment and brokerage throughout the United States and Latin America, Rob plays a vital role in implementing Becknell’s acquisition and development strategies, which contribute significantly to the growth of the Company’s portfolio. He concentrates on the Florida market, overseeing build-to-suit projects, leasing speculative warehouse space, and identifying strategic land parcels to support the Company’s long-term growth objectives.
Over the course of his career, Rob has overseen the development of more than 10 million square feet of industrial and commercial assets, with proven expertise in site selection, capital structuring, leasing strategy, and both speculative and build-to-suit execution.
Before joining Becknell Industrial, he served as Founder & CEO of Imminent Ventures, directing large-scale industrial developments across Florida, and as CEO of Ivy Capital, a value-add industrial investment firm focused on infill markets. Rob previously held senior leadership roles as Director at McCraney Property Company, where he led operations in Central and North Florida, and as Vice President at Flagler, a subsidiary of Fortress Investment Group (NYSE: FIG), where he spearheaded statewide expansion initiatives for Florida’s largest industrial platform at the time. He co-founded NAI Panama, scaling it into one of the largest commercial brokerage and construction platforms in the country, with successful exits in brokerage, construction and property management.
Rob is a member of the Board of Directors for Miami Finance Forum.
