Robert Stella joined CresaPartners in January 2005. He has specialized in tenant representation in the New York Metropolitan area, and nationally, since 1983. Prior to CresaPartners, Robert was a Senior Vice President with CB Richard Ellis. While at CB Richard Ellis he closed over $2.9 billion in transactions, totaling 3.0 million sf.
In 1994, he was the top performing leasing broker at CBRE worldwide. In that period, he leased over 500,000 SF, closed 25 multi-market deals and closed one of New York City's largest office lease transactions. He was a consistent top producer and leader in the New York Tri-State region and nationally. He was a member of both the Colbert Coldwell Circle and the Chairman’s club. Robert was an active member of CBRE’s National Broker Advisory Council, which reported to the Board of Directors, a founding member of their Technology & Telecommunications Industrial Practice Group and established its first Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Group after the September 11, 2001 attacks.
Robert graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Accounting and is the past Tri-State President of the Alumni Association. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant, a licensed real estate broker in New York and New Jersey, a member of the Real Estate Board of New York and the Young Men and Women’s Real Estate Organization of New York. Robert lives in New York City with his wife, Maureen.
Prior to joining CB Richard Ellis, he was employed with International Paper Company for 8 years, where he held a variety of financial management positions.
