After graduating from James Madison University Rob immediately went to work at Grove Manufacturing Company (now Manitowoc) in Shady Grove. Rob spent 25 years in different sales and marketing positions mostly international and left the company as Vice President of Asian Pacific and Latin America. He then spent 5 years working as an Independent Representative for an Australian and Malaysian Crane Manufacturer representing the United States. He reached a point in his career where he would have to move his family to continue so decided to stay in the area and took the position as Business Development Specialist at the Hagerstown Washington County EDC. Throughout the 7 years at the EDC, Rob became Deputy Director and learned the value that a professional economic development organization has to a local community. It was there where he met Don Bowman and was given the opportunity to join him and his team.
