Rodger Anderson is a licensed Texas Real Estate Broker and Principal with Edge Realty Partners, bringing more than 35 years of experience in retail real estate advisory and transaction services across Austin and Central Texas. Throughout his career, Rodger has represented a wide range of national and regional retailers as well as landlords, building a reputation as a trusted leader in the market.
Rodger began his real estate career in 1983 with Vanguard Properties and became a licensed broker in 1988. He later served as President of The Vanguard Company, which merged with UCR before being acquired by CBRE in 2015. After serving as a Senior Vice President at CBRE, Rodger joined Edge Realty Partners as a Principal, where he continues to provide strategic tenant representation, landlord leasing, and investment services. Over the years, he has been involved in more than $750 million in local retail real estate transactions, including the sale or purchase of 18 Austin-area shopping centers.
Rodger earned his BBA in Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin in 1982 and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1984 after starting his career in public accounting with Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Austin Commercial Real Estate Society (ACRES), Commercial Brokers Association (CSA), and The Real Estate Council of Austin (RECA).
Outside of work, Rodger enjoys golf and saltwater fishing.
